How The Berkshire Hathaway Uses GroupCarpool to Convene Realtors

Since launching in 2012, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS) become the fastest growing real estate company in the nation. Thousands of brokerages and agents have chosen to join BHHS.

Every year, BHHS holds multiple conferences for its real estate agents and partners. Their goals are to fire up moral, share best practices, and ensure their workforce is tuned in to industry trends--interest rate shifts, demographic needs, etc.

Getting thousands of real estate agents to one location at one time is complicated. That’s why BHHS turns to GroupCarpool to streamline ground transportation and ensure their agents don’t have to worry about logistics to and from airports, hotels and convention centers.

By nominating regional leaders from each office and using GroupCarpool, each chapter knows whom is running the carpool, where to be, and when to be there. More importantly, each individual knows whether or not they have a ride and whether or not they have to deal with the hassle of renting a car, finding a taxi or uber, or worrying about how much “fun” their having at the evening events.

With the team leader in place as the GroupCarpool administrator, each passenger and driver has a dedicated and password protected carpool link to the group. From here, GroupCarpool does the rest.

Drivers sign up to drive and passengers sign up for their ride. The GroupCarpool administrator can monitor everything from their dashboard and send out a message to the group if there are any changes prior to the trip departure date.
